Education: J.D. with Honours (Australian National University) 2013; B.A. (University of British Columbia) 2006
Dru articled with our firm and joined us as an associate when he was called to the bar in 2016. He has represented trade unions in labour arbitrations and he has represented union members in workers’ compensation matters and human rights complaints. Prior to articling Dru worked in our WCB practice as a paralegal.
Dru attended the Australian National University where he obtained his law degree with honours. During law school he participated in an internship program with the BC Ministry of Justice and tutored Australian Indigenous students enrolled in paralegal studies.
Before attending law school Dru worked in aviation as an apprentice aircraft maintenance engineer and maintenance test flight pilot. In these roles Dru developed an appreciation for the value of union representation and workplace safety.
When he’s not in the office Dru can be found cycling, playing soccer, and (when he has the financial resources) in the cockpit.
